Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable Accounts Payable Clerk/Receptionist to support daily office operations for our steel and concrete construction company. This part-time position combines accounts payable responsibilities with front-office and administrative support, with room to grow into a full-time role. Work Schedule Monday through Friday 9:00AM to 2:00PM Consistent weekday schedule supporting work-life balance Responsibilities Process accounts payable, including vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment tracking Match invoices to receiving documents and resolve discrepancies Maintain organized financial and vendor records Answer and direct phone calls and greet visitors professionally Assist with general office duties such as filing, data entry, and document management Support project managers and office staff as needed Qualifications Previous accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred Basic knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Professional communication and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a small office environment Construction industry experience is a plus, but not required What We Offer Part-time position with consistent hours Opportunity for advancement to a full-time role Supportive, team-oriented work environment Stable position with a well-established company Steelmaster Industries, Inc. is a commercial metal building contractor in Central Florida for more than 40 years.
