Location:
Ocala, FL Accounting Clerk - Data Reconciliation & Entry Full-Time | Temporary / Contract (Approx. 4 months or longer) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk for an ongoing project involving detailed data reconciliation, entry, and general office support. The ideal candidate will have 6 months to 1+ year of experience handling Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger tasks, and 10-key data entry. In this role, you will download financial data, perform variance reconciliations, manage debit/credit postings, and support general administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Reconciliation & Projects:
Download financial reports from software into spreadsheets (CSV), analyze debits/credits, calculate variances for refunds, and make necessary adjustments.
AP/AR & Data Entry:
Assist with minor Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions; download debits/credits from OEM websites, post updates across online store platforms, collapse parts statements, and apply payments to credits.
General Ledger & Administrative:
Assist with General Ledger maintenance, filing, and general office administrative tasks.
Cross-Training & Support:
Cross-train to back up the Receptionist and Dispatcher, answer incoming calls, and route calls to appropriate personnel.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience:
6 months to 1+ year of Accounting Clerk experience required.
Core Skills:
Hands-on experience with AP/AR, General Ledger, 10-key entry, debit/credit processing, and variance reconciliation.
Software Proficiency:
Proficiency in Google Spreadsheets and Microsoft Excel (ability to work with CSV downloads and data transfers between systems); experience with LightSpeed or similar software is a plus.
Flexibility:
Organizational skills and the willingness to cross-train across administrative roles. Employer conducts drug test and background check.
Schedule:
Full time/ Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (1-hr lunch) OR 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (30-min lunch)
