Job Summary Our Cardiology practice is searching for an experienced Medical AR Biller to perform daily duties and cross train for covering other billing positions. Cardiology experience preferred. Only experienced Medical Billers should apply. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our medical practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process with insurance companies, ensuring timely collection of medical claim payments. Responsibilities Work AR for multiple physicians. Previous 3 years medical billing experience required. Follow up on unpaid or denied claims, including resubmissions, appeals, and corrections. Help with daily denied/rejected claims. Research Eligibility/Benefits to make corrections and resubmit claims. Use
CPT & ICD-10
procedure edits to make corrections to claims if necessary. Assist patients with billing questions to collect payments. 2nd duties cross training for Check out, payment posting, claims submission and charge posting. Experience Proven experience in accounts receivable. Demonstrated ability to handle medical billing processes and understand Cardiology practice terminology. Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills to effectively communicate with patients regarding their accounts. The successful candidate will be a proactive team player who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of their work. Strong organization skills. Excellent attention to detail. Optimistic, upbeat personality; excellent verbal communication skills. Work quickly and efficiently.
