$22.00-$24.00/hour

As an Accounting Specialist, you'll be part of a high-performing accounting team supporting lease administration, financial reporting, reconciliations, and landlord relationships. The Accounting Specialist will gain exposure to specialized areas of accounting while developing skills that can lead to future opportunities in property accounting, financial reporting, and corporate accounting. This opportunity is ideal for an Accounting Specialist who enjoys analytical work, problem-solving, and working with both financial data and contractual documents in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist Process monthly landlord payments and ensure lease obligations are paid accurately and on time as the Accounting Specialist Review and reconcile Common Area Maintenance (CAM) charges, research discrepancies, and coordinate resolutions as the Accounting Specialist Communicate with landlords and internal departments regarding payments, lease terms, account balances, and related inquiries as the Accounting Specialist Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end adjustments to support accurate financial reporting as the Accounting Specialist Identify cost-saving opportunities, maintain lease documentation, and assist with special projects as the Accounting Specialist Qualifications for the Accounting Specialist Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; high school diploma required 3+ years of accounting experience, including reconciliations, invoice processing, journal entries, or general ledger support Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs; Oracle, Discoverer, or similar ERP experience preferred What You'll Gain as the Accounting Specialist Structured training and mentorship from experienced accounting professionals Exposure to lease accounting, CAM reconciliations, landlord relations, and financial reporting Opportunity to support a large nationwide portfolio within a respected hospitality organization Collaborative culture focused on professional development and internal promotion Clear career progression into Property Accountant, Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, or Corporate Accounting positions Who Thrives as the Accounting Specialist The ideal Accounting Specialist is analytical, organized, and comfortable managing a high-volume workload.
