Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper Process accounts payable transactions, reconcile weekly payments, and maintain accurate financial records Perform month-end close activities, including accruals, prepaids, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations Track and allocate expenses across grants and operating funds while supporting grant accounting activities Assist with audit preparation, financial reporting, and inventory accounting for the shop Identify and support opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency Qualifications for the Bookkeeper 1+ year of bookkeeping, accounting, or related financial experience Experience with accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and month-end close activities Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently Work Environment for the Bookkeeper Fully onsite position in Orlando Flexible daily start times Collaborative, close-knit team with direct exposure to executive leadership Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Opportunity to gain experience in nonprofit, grant, and fund accounting within a mission-driven organization This Bookkeeper opportunity is best suited for a detail-oriented professional seeking greater ownership, visibility, and long-term growth.
