Position Overview The Multi-Tenant Bookkeeper is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations for multiple alarm industry clients using the Alarm Assistant platform. This role ensures that each partner's books are accurate, organized, and compliant, while also maintaining records such as time-off tracking and basic reporting. The position requires a strong attention to detail, consistent communication with partner companies, and the ability to handle multiple accounts at once. Key Responsibilities Manage bookkeeping for multiple Alarm Assistant partner companies, including A/R, A/P, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. Record and categorize financial transactions accurately using QuickBooks Online and related tools. Prepare and send invoices, process incoming payments, and reconcile merchant transactions (e.g., Shift4, Fortis, or other processors). Generate monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for each partner. Track and maintain employee time-off (PTO, sick leave, holidays) for each client as needed. Reconcile payroll entries and coordinate with third-party processors for accuracy. Monitor recurring revenue (RMR) and ensure subscription-based billing aligns with partner records. Communicate with clients and internal team members to resolve bookkeeping questions or discrepancies. Support the month-end close process and ensure all reporting deadlines are met. Maintain confidentiality and security of all partner financial data. Qualifications 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (multi-client experience preferred). Solid understanding of small-business accounting, preferably in the alarm, security, or service industry. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel/Google Sheets, and cloud-based accounting tools. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple clients efficiently. High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Dependable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment. Preferred Skills Experience working with SaaS or RMR-based businesses. Familiarity with merchant processors, sales tax reporting, and payroll systems (e.g., Gusto, ADP, QuickBooks Payroll). Prior experience tracking time-off or maintaining HR-related records. Understanding of industry platforms like WorkHorse or central-station integrations is a plus. Performance Metrics Accuracy and timeliness of partner reconciliations.
