Job Description
Job Summary Solution Source is one of Florida's Premier contracting firms based in Plant City, Florida specializing in commercial & residential construction, roofing systems, insurance restoration, and renovations throughout Central Florida. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to oversee the day-to-day financial management of our organization. This individual will be responsible for managing the entire accounting cycle, from recording financial transactions to preparing accurate reports for management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently while maintaining strict confidentiality and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a regular basis.
- Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Process and file sales tax, payroll tax, and other required returns.
- Collaborate with external CPAs and auditors as needed.
- Monitor compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support management with ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis.
Experience/Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably in a full charge capacity.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar). Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.Personal Skills:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Strong communication skills for collaborating with management, vendors, and auditors. Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience in construction, professional services.
