Covenant is seeking an Accounting Specialist for our facility located in the Sarasota area. This position will support our finance team with bookkeeping, invoicing, processing charges, and other accounting/financial tasks given. This position is responsible for aiding the finance team with daily bookkeeping and clinical trial accounting. Duties Coding of expenses and allocating to sites using QuickBooks Online. Support with reconciling American Express and bank charges to electronic receipts (QuickBooks). Support reconciling monthly AMEX/checking account statements. Processing of select American Express and bank AP charges. Invoicing of patient billable visit items. Invoicing of study administrative fee items. Posting and linking of study payments. Support with reviewal of Study CTAs and Clinical Protocols to ensure accurate invoicing and understanding protocol requirements relating to budget needs. Support with reconciliation of Studies to ensure all funds have been invoiced for a given contract. Support creating study finance builds and configurations in CTMS software. Communicate with Covenant employees, Vendors, and external Study Payment Specialists, as necessary. Collaborate with Chief Financial Officer and Accounting team to resolve any financial issues. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years experience in Accounting or Finance. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts. Familiarity with financial report interpretation and account reconciliation. Ability to quickly learn and become fluent with clinical research CTMS software. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software is preferred. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
