Experienced Bookkeeper Go Figure Accounting is a growing accounting firm in Winter Garden, Florida, and we're looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone with a strong bookkeeping and accounting foundation and 3-5 years of experience working in public accounting or an accounting/bookkeeping firm supporting multiple client companies. What You'll Do Independently manage bookkeeping and accounting for multiple clients Complete bank, credit card, loan, and balance sheet reconciliations Review general ledger accounts and identify and correct discrepancies Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close Prepare and review Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements Handle cleanup and catch-up bookkeeping when needed Communicate directly with clients and keep projects moving Assist with payroll, sales tax, 1099s, and other accounting projects Expand into tax and more advanced accounting work with training from our team Tax experience is not required. We will train you. Required 3-5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience in a public accounting, CPA, or bookkeeping firm Experience independently working with multiple client companies Strong QuickBooks Online experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel Strong understanding of debits, credits, and financial statements Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines Strong attention to detail and the ability to recognize when something doesn't look right Comfortable communicating directly with clients Nice to Have Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Xero and/or Zoho experience QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification Payroll, sales tax, 1099, or tax experience Why Go Figure?
