Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage incoming payments, track invoices, and ensure timely collections. This role plays a key part in maintaining healthy cash flow and supporting the financial operations of our remodeling projects. Key Responsibilities Generate and send invoices for remodeling projects and service work Track customer payments including checks, ACH, and card transactions Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with clients on past-due accounts Communicate professionally with customers regarding billing questions and payment plans Reconcile accounts receivable records and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate financial records and customer account details Assist with job costing and project billing coordination Prepare aging reports and support month-end closing activities Qualifications 1-3 years of accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience Experience in construction or remodeling industry is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software) Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and general office tools Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Preferred Skills Knowledge of construction billing, progress invoicing, or job costing Experience working with contractors, vendors, and homeowners Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle sensitive financial matters Benefits Competitive hourly pay Paid sick time Opportunities for advancement within a growing company Supportive, team-oriented work environment
