Job Description

Accounts Payable Specialist Brasington Bailey Contractors is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented accounting professional to join our team. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing invoices, three-way matching, filing, timeliness of data entry, and ensuring accuracy of all accounts payable. Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities Receiving and organizing all incoming invoices and delivery tickets Tracking and obtaining missing delivery tickets Three-way matching of all invoices to purchase orders and delivery tickets Requesting and tracking vendor credits as required Maintaining all vendor and accounts payable files Verifying subcontractor rates, contracts, and insurance Verifying vendor W-9s and correct contact information Reconciling vendor statements Entering credit card charges and reconciling statement Various accounting activities as required Additional office duties as required Job Requirements & Qualifications Degree in Accounting or related field preferred Construction related experience is a plus Familiarity with accounting software systems Experience with accounts payable Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently Ability to follow standard filing procedures Exceptional attention to detail Professional attitude and dependable work habits Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to consistently meet deadlines Additional Information Compensation Package will include: Salary commensurate with experience Paid Vacation and Holidays Health/Dental/Vision Insurance Plan 401

Schedule:
Full time Please note: This is a fully in-office position based in Cartersville, GA. Candidates should currently reside within a reasonable commuting distance and be able to commute daily.
