Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a combined Barback and Bartender, where your energy and enthusiasm will elevate the guest experience! Your proactive approach to cleaning, bussing, and supporting bartenders will keep our venue inviting and efficient. Responsibilities Assist bartenders by preparing garnishes, stocking supplies, and maintaining bar cleanliness in accordance with food service bar safety compliance standards Buss tables promptly and efficiently to keep the venue tidy and welcoming Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and cleaning equipment with proper safety precautions Support food preparation and food handling tasks as needed to ensure smooth service flow Operate POS systems like Toast POS for cash handling and order processing accurately Maintain high standards of cleanliness through regular bar cleaning, kitchen cleaning, and venue sanitation practices Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate beverage service, catering events, banquets, or special functions Experience Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred, especially in busy venues or catering environments Familiarity with bar experience including beverage service and venue beverage operations Experience using POS systems such as Toast POS for cashiering and order management Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities to engage guests positively Knowledge of food industry safety standards, including food handling and banquet safety protocols Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking Prior experience in hospitality settings like catering or banquet services is advantageous Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering memorable experiences!
