200 day position
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Bookkeeping and payroll desired. Prefer a minimum of two years of experience in bookkeeping. Customer service skills. Must be computer proficient in Microsoft Office; experience using MUNIS software preferred. Knowledge and experience in basic office procedures and small office equipment. Professional organizational and leadership skills. Must be able to perform routine physical activities which may include lifting up to 20 pounds. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.RESPONSIBILITIES
Prompt and regular attendance. Communicates via phone, computer, and in person with faculty, staff, administrators, parents, community members, and vendors in a professional manner. Performs all bookkeeping procedures related to the school activity accounts. Follows all procedurs as outlined in the LCSS Accounting Handbook. Prepares and processes school purchase orders, requisitions and other documents pertaining to financial transactions. Handles the distribution of relative documents and information at the site level. Processes incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries. Answers telephone calls and assist students and parents as needed. Prepares correspondence as needed. Asssits with students sign in and out records. Monitors and maintains the SEMS, TimeForce systems and PowerSchool Systems. Performs usual office routines and practices associated with a busy, productive office environment. Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor or Superintendent of Schools.
