Job Description
Mid-size law firm in Macon, Georgia is seeking a full charge bookkeeper. The successful candidate will have familiarity with a wide range of financial transactions, including experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and payroll, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Essential responsibilities and skills include but are not limited to: General ledger entries and reconciliation. Accounts receivable and accounts payable duties. Track all income and expenses. Compile and prepare monthly financial reports. Perform payroll responsibilities timely and accurately. Bank account(s) reconciliation. Maintain order of accounting filing system. Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements. Follow accounting policies and procedures Strong organization and multi-tasking abilities. Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent data entry skills. Other miscellaneous financial duties as assigned.
