Bookkeeper Reports To:
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Position Summary The Bookkeeper is responsible for performing general accounting and bookkeeping functions while supporting financial analysis, reporting, and internal controls. This role works with limited guidance, takes ownership of assigned responsibilities, and collaborates closely with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform general accounting functions, including reconciliations of various accounts Assist with financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting on a daily, monthly, and annual basis Evaluate, maintain, and help further develop financial controls and projections Support month-end and year-end closing processes Prepare and deliver ad hoc reports and special projects as assigned Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure accurate financial data Maintain general ledger accuracy and perform variance analysis Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for work quality and deadlines Support purchasing and inventory-related accounting functions (experience preferred) Preferred Qualifications Strong analytical and accounting skills with a solid understanding of GAAP Minimum of 5+ years of general accounting or bookkeeping experience Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience assisting with month-end close processes Background in general ledger accounting and variance analysis Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Self-starter with demonstrated leadership and ownership mindset Benefits 401(k) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Pre-Employment Requirements E-Verify and background check Drug screening All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
