Job Description

Job description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, reconciling statements, and supporting overall accounts payable operations. Key Responsibilities:
Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in compliance with financial policies and procedures Ensure accuracy of invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams Prepare and perform electronic transfers and payments, as well as check runs as needed Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist in month-end closing Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries in a professional manner Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation as required Support process improvements and participate in cross-functional projects, as assigned
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting, preferably in a mid to large-sized organization Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems) Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
Skills and Competencies:
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
