Job Description

Overview:
Searching for an Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk to join our team. An opening for a knowledgeable, motivated, and detail-oriented individual who works well with strict due dates and enjoys the camaraderie of a hard-working team!
Responsibilities:
Work alongside Head Accountant to ensure all accounts are paid on time and no clients are delinquent. Prepares work to be accomplished by collecting and sorting documents and related information. Prepares, verifies, schedules, and pays invoices in a timely and efficient manner. Collects revenue by reminding delinquent accounts of insufficient payments. Processes customer refunds after verifying return authorizations with the Warehouse Manager. Maintains accounting ledgers by posting transactions. Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation, issuing stop payments and adjustments. Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents. Ready and willing to take on new tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
5+ years experience in Accounting. Associate's degree in Accounting or similar, a plus. Experience with QuickBooks, a plus. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
