PART TIME ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our dynamic accounting team. Process and verify incoming vendor invoices using various accounting and ERP systems. Submit invoices for payment on time and accurately to take advantage of vendor discounts. Process and prepare accounts payable check runs twice weekly or as directed by your supervisor. Review monthly vendor statements to ensure timely and accurate payments. Answer phones as needed Perform data entry with high accuracy, including coding invoices and entering payment details into our ERP system. Maintain organized records of all accounts payable documents, including invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations, adhering to internal controls in place. Report daily and weekly progress to your direct supervisor. Proven experience with accounting software, including MS Excel. Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy; proficiency in 10-key typing is preferred. Knowledge of accounts payable processes. Prior experience is desirable but not required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
