It is critical that the Accounts Receivable Clerk is trustworthy and ethical. A detail-oriented person with effective communication skills will thrive in this role. Responsibilities Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to receipts and invoices, resolving any discrepancies Collaborate with customers to report transaction details, resolve discrepancies and maintain positive relationships Follow up on status of account payment, credit and dealer accounts Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any invoice or payment issues Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as needed Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards Assist with month-end closing activities Track activity of specific accounts Maintain historical records Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and inquiries via phone or email with professionalism Any other tasks as required Required Education High school degree Basic Qualifications Speak, read, and write English fluently Strong verbal and written communication skills PC proficiency (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel) Knowledge and operational use of 10 key by touch and keyboarding skills Basic mathematical skills Proven experience in accounts receivable or related field Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record keeping and account reconciliation tasks Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively Ability to learn new financial software Fast learner
