Job Description
Bookkeeper- 224298-04 (224298-04) #OFFICE_INDEED The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the controller with various accounting functions within the organization. Hours Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm Location Waipahu, Oahu Pay $28 to $30 an hour Responsibilities Serve as primary accounting support to the Controller, ensuring proper functioning of ERP software modules including Payroll, Billing, A/P, and General Ledger. Maintain data integrity of the accounting system with precision and care. Act as a subject matter expert for the company's Administrative Team, providing support on processing duties as needed. Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency. Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly. Qualifications Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and ability to multi-task effectively. Excellent time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex financial challenges. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, occasionally stressful environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills including formula creation. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Team player attitude with a willingness to support colleagues across departments. Minimum of 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in the energy and utilities sector. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, bookkeeping, business administration, or related field.
