Full-Time About the Opportunity McGrath Family of Dealerships is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting vendor relationships, and ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time. Requirements 1-3 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience preferred Working knowledge of accounts payable processes and general accounting procedures Experience with accounting software and financial systems preferred Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and data entry Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple assignments, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines Self-motivated with excellent time management skills Familiarity with general office procedures, including filing and scanning documents Strong communication and problem-solving skills Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collaboration and accuracy What You'll Do Review, verify, code, and post invoices in multiple accounting systems Match vendor invoices with purchase orders and obtain required approvals prior to processing Process high-volume invoices from multiple dealership locations accurately and efficiently Prepare invoices for payment and perform check runs Reconcile vendor statements and various payable accounts while researching and resolving discrepancies Respond professionally to vendor and internal inquiries while maintaining accurate vendor records Support the accounting department with additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned What We Offer PTO starting Day 1 Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Career growth - 97% of promotions come from within Supportive, collaborative, and team-oriented culture Take the Next Step If you're looking for a career where your attention to detail and accounting expertise make a meaningful impact, apply today to join the McGrath Family of Dealerships accounting team .
