Job Description
Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support both the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions for our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the day-to-day success of the accounting department. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable
+ Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
+ Enter and process vendor invoices accurately and timely
+ Assist with vendor payment processing
+ Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
+ Maintain organized AP records and documentation Accounts Receivable
+ Generate and distribute customer invoices
+ Apply customer payments and reconcile accounts
+ Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections activities
+ Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
+ Maintain accurate customer account records Additional Responsibilities
+ Assist with account reconciliations
+ Enter and maintain financial data within the accounting system
+ Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding invoices and payments
+ Perform general administrative and accounting support duties as needed Requirements Qualifications + 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP, AR, or related experience preferred
+ Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
+ Strong data entry and organizational skills
+ High attention to detail and accuracy
+ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
