Role Description The Assistant Bookkeeper is a full-time, on-site role located in Blue Island, IL. This position supports the day-to-day financial operations of Trussman, LLC. The role involves maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, reconciling accounts, and working within accounting software to update accounts and generate reports. The Assistant Bookkeeper will collaborate with the accounting and operations teams to ensure timely invoicing, payment processing, and documentation of expenses. This role also includes assisting with basic financial analysis, responding to internal inquiries about financial data, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. Qualifications Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong numerical aptitude and comfort working with spreadsheets and financial data. Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members across departments. High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred. Accounting experience is not required; training will be provided.
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
