Job Description

Finance Department Hours:
20-30 hours per weekEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Finance Department Part-Time Clerk's general responsibilities are included but not limited to the following:- Prepare annual fire protection notices
- Update fire protection customers with fire department
- Prepare annual food truck, coin op, music box, cigarette and tobacco licenses notices and prepare licenses
- Assist customers with bonds,permits, utility payments, and other services
- Post various payments in cash receipting
- Perform general filing and records management
- Prepare monthly lake lease invoices
- Cross train as required for all duties as assigned in Finance Department
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to interact effectively with public and staff at all levels
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to work on tasks independently and with accuracy
Physical Requirements:
- Work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
- May sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal
- Requires use of calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday
- Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
- Physical demands include some normal lifting (not to exceed 25lbs at a time), carrying, and delivering items within City Hall or to post office or bank.
- Work environment can be stressful.
