We're seeking a skilled accounting professional to manage our financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance. This role is crucial in supporting our mission through accurate financial reporting, budget management, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. What You'll Do Financial Management Perform full charge bookkeeping and maintain compliance with GAAP Process accounts payable and receivable transactions Review and post bi-weekly payroll journals Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns Maintain control procedures for Food Stamps and Petty Cash Process billing and reconciliation for internal and external vouchers Reporting & Compliance Prepare monthly financial reports and audit schedules Reconcile payroll deductions and exchange accounts Work with HR staff on pension contribution reports Generate and submit Rags Sales & Vehicle Sales Reports Assist with budget preparations and data entry Collaborate with ARC Command Center for month/year-end closing Supervisory Duties Supervise accounting department staff Review and approve vendor checks before release Maintain oversight of accounts and financial procedures Why Join Us Mission-driven work that supports programs in your community On-the-job training Team-oriented environment Employee Discount, Employee Assistance Program, and more!
