This role is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401k. Our client is seeking a strong, hands-on Accounting Specialist to support Accounts Receivable operations, customer billing, cash application, and the month-end close. The ideal candidate has solid AR experience, strong analytical skills, and advanced Excel capabilities. Key Responsibilities Manage daily AR billing, cash application, and customer account activity. Communicate with customers regarding payments, outstanding balances, and billing questions. Research and resolve pricing and quantity discrepancies; prepare credit memos as needed. Apply daily cash receipts to customer invoices and obtain remittance details. Prepare daily cash deposit reporting for management. Partner with Client Services to resolve customer billing issues. Support month-end close, including AR aging reports, reconciliations, and related accounting activities. Analyze AR data and prepare reporting using Excel PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and other formulas. Qualifications 3+ years of Accounts Receivable or related accounting experience. Strong understanding of billing, cash application, AR aging, and account reconciliation. Advanced Excel skills required — strong PivotTable andVLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
experience. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Highly detail-oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
