This role is ideal for someone who enjoys investigating discrepancies, working across departments, and driving issues to resolution. Key Responsibilities for the Deduction Specialist Manage, research, and resolve customer deductions including shortages, overages, damages, pricing discrepancies, and fines Access customer portals to submit claims and maintain supporting documentation Communicate with customers, brokers, and internal teams to resolve outstanding issues Lead meetings to review deduction status and determine next steps Prepare reports and provide updates on deduction activity and recovery progress Track paybacks, credits, and write-offs Identify opportunities to improve deduction workflows and processes Support accounting activities including A/R and A/P as needed Qualifications for the
