Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, dependable Office Counter / Bookkeeper to join our team at our established Powersports and automotive dealership in Woodstock. This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable dealing with customers at the front counter while also handling day-to-day office and bookkeeping responsibilities. We need someone who can take ownership of the office and keep things organized. Responsibilities Greet customers and handle front-counter business Answer phones and assist customers with questions Handle cash, credit card transactions, receipts and daily deposits Accounts payable and accounts receivable Basic bookkeeping and reconciliation Enter invoices and payments into our dealer management system Assist with parts and service paperwork Process paperwork and maintain organized customer files Assist with vehicle and Powersports title/registration paperwork when needed Monitor office supplies and keep the front office organized Open and close the office according to daily procedures Work with management, technicians, parts and sales departments Perform other general office duties as needed Qualifications Previous bookkeeping or dealership office experience preferred Strong computer skills Experience with Lightspeed or another dealership management system is a big plus Comfortable handling money and balancing daily transactions Excellent attention to detail Organized and dependable Good communication and customer-service skills Able to work independently without constant supervision Must be comfortable in a busy dealership/shop environment What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up every day, pays attention to the details and can be counted on.
