Job Description
The Accounts Payable (AP) Administrative Clerk provides critical clerical and administrative support to the Accounts Payable department. This role manages high volume communications, organizes and routes documents, handles utility and statement processing, and maintains accurate recordkeeping. The AP Administrative Clerk ensures timely workflow coordination to support reliable AP operations and excellent internal and external customer service. The compensation for this position will be commensurate with education or work experience.
What You'll Be Doing:
Monitors the dedicated AP email inbox for high volume incoming communication. Sorts and routes incoming correspondence to appropriate AP staff for processing. Responds to routine vendor and internal customer inquiries. Escalates issues or irregular items to AP Specialists or leadership. Tracks missing statements and follows up with vendors to obtain required documentation. Maintains organized digital and physical filing systems for AP documentation. Assists with AP projects, reporting activities, and workflow coordination.What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED, required. Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred. What You'll Need forSuccess:
Experience in Accounts Payable, accounting, or a financerelated environment. Familiarity with invoice workflows, utility processing, or vendor relationship management.
