AP/AR - Commercial Construction

Overview A rapidly growing commercial construction company is seeking a seasoned AP/AR Assistant to support its CFO and existing accounting staff. This is a fast-paced environment where accuracy, energy, and a strong work ethic are essential. Key Responsibilities Assist with full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Prepare and manage pay applications, including AIA billing and Form 703 Support month-end processes and job cost tracking Maintain organized and accurate financial records Collaborate with the CFO and accounting team to support daily operations Contribute to the successful transition from QuickBooks to Plexus Required Qualifications Commercial construction accounting experience (required) Strong knowledge of AP/AR processes Proficiency in QuickBooks Experience with AIA billing and pay applications Ability to work efficiently in a busy, growing environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with Plexus or similar accounting/project management systems Demonstrated ability to adapt to new software and workflows Attributes for Success Energetic, motivated, and dependable Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Strong communication and teamwork skills If you have extensive commercial construction accounting experience and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
