Job Description
Full Charge Bookkeeper Evansville, IN | Full-time | $58,000 - $70,000 We're a family-owned Home Instead franchise with seven home care offices around Indiana, and we need a full charge bookkeeper to take over the day-to-day books. You'd work out of our Evansville office and report to our Controller. Most of your week is home care. You'd also keep the books for two other companies the family owns: a wholesale lumber yard and a three-location drive-through coffee franchise. Small team, so there's nobody else who'll catch it if a reconciliation doesn't tie. What you'd be doing Home care — most of your time Move completed invoices out of WellSky into QuickBooks Online and make sure the two agree Apply payments from private pay and state funded clients, including remittances and contractual adjustments Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Enter and code AP, company credit cards included Track loan balances, payments, and amortization schedules Monthly close: journal entries, accruals, prepaids, balance sheet recs, and a P&L and balance sheet per office plus consolidated Work with our Billing and AR Coordinator on billing accuracy and older receivables Lumber yard — about one day a month on site Run AP through Bill.
