Job Description
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 30-day assignment with our client in Indiana, starting Oct 5, 2026. This role involves inpatient care in a Level 2 trauma center, managing 15-18 patients per day. The schedule includes various shifts such as 6a-3p, 8a-5p, 1p-10p, and 3p-12a, with no on-call duties required. Responsibilities and Duties Perform required procedures including Breast Cyst Aspiration, Central Venous pressure catheterization, Endotracheal intubation (20 cases for past 24 months), Lumbar Puncture, Nasal Hemostatic Packing-Placement of Anterior & Posterior, Paracentesis, Suprapubic Bladder Aspiration, Thoracentesis & moderate sedation, with supporting logs. Provide care in a Level 2 trauma center setting. Manage 100% inpatient cases. Average 15-18 patients per physician per day, or approximately 2 patients per hour. Work within a staffing model that includes 2-3 Physicians during most hours and 24/7 single APP support. Contribute to patient care within a Comprehensive Stroke Center. Additional Information Board Certification in Emergency Medicine required.
EMR:
