What You'll Do Conduct outbound and inbound calls to individuals regarding past-due accounts in a polite, respectful, and authoritative manner. Actively listen to consumers to understand their financial situations and negotiate fair, realistic payment solutions or settlement structures. Accurately document all call activities, payment commitments, and account updates in our collections system. Review and analyze data to find available solutions. Strictly adhere to all federal and state regulatory guidelines, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and Telephone Consumer Protection Act ( TCPA ).
What We Are Looking For Exceptional Communication Skills:
A clear, confident, and professional phone presence with excellent active listening skills.
Critical Thinking skills:
the ability to rapidly analyze a consumer's words, tone, and situation to choose the most compliant and effective path to resolution.
Professionalism:
The ability to remain completely calm, empathetic, and professional when speaking with frustrated or stressed consumers.
High Reliability:
Strong organizational skills and the self-motivation to maintain steady call volume without micromanagement.
Compliance-Minded:
Previous experience in banking, customer service, call centers, or collections is a plus, but a strong respect for rules and standard operating procedures is required.
Basic Tech Literacy:
Comfort utilizing a computer headset, dialing software, and database navigation. Specialized training is provided for suitable candidates. We are an equal opportunity employer.
