Posting Details Position Details Title Assistant Professor of Accounting Appointment Status Tenure Track Department IU Kokomo School of Business Location Kokomo Position Summary The School of Business at Indiana University Kokomo invites applications for a full-time, 10-month, Assistant Professor of Accounting position beginning Spring/Fall 2027. The Assistant Professor of Accounting is responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate accounting courses (in-person, hybrid, and online), maintaining an active research agenda, and contributing to service activities at the department, school, university, and professional levels. The position supports the academic mission of the institution, including maintaining high standards aligned with AACSB accreditation expectations. One of eight campuses of Indiana University, Indiana University Kokomo is a comprehensive non-residential campus located 50 miles north of Indianapolis in Kokomo, Indiana, a city with a population of about 57,000. Basic Qualifications Minimum Qualifications A doctoral degree in accounting or a closely related field (if the applicant holds CPA certification), teaching experience at the college level with evidence of a commitment to student-focused approach, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in student-centered teaching.
