Starting pay will be based on the experience and qualifications of the candidate selected. Excellent benefits are available upon hire. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join their accounting team and support daily financial operations.
Job Duties:
Process invoices and outgoing payments in compliance with company procedures Verify, classify, post, and record accounts payable transactions Reconcile accounts payable ledgers and resolve discrepancies Prepare payments, update invoices, and assist with bank deposits as needed Support month-end close processes and account reconciliations Assist with audits and maintain accurate fiscal records Work closely with accounting leadership on special projects and reporting needs
Requirements:
Previous accounts payable or accounting experience required Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office programs ERP experience is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work independently It's a match for someone who enjoys detailed accounting work, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to grow with a successful local company.
