Full-Time Salary:
$45,760.00 - $52,000.00 Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Accounting Specialist to join their finance team. This position will support daily accounting operations, invoice processing, reconciliations, and month-end activities. The ideal candidate enjoys working with numbers, solving discrepancies, and ensuring financial information is accurate and up to date. Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable invoices, expense coding, payment runs, and vendor account reconciliations. Perform three-way matching, research discrepancies, and work with internal departments to resolve issues. Prepare journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations. Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals and financial reporting. Maintain vendor records, W-9 documentation, and assist with annual 1099 reporting. Assist with bank reconciliations, audit requests, and maintaining organized financial records. Identify process improvements while ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls. Qualifications 2+ years of accounts payable, accounting, or bookkeeping experience. Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations. Strong Excel and accounting software skills. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
