Accounting Coordinator AbilityPoint Wichita, KS Job Details Part-time $16 - $19 an hour 13 hours ago Qualifications Accounts receivable Microsoft Excel High school diploma or GED Driver's License QuickBooks Online QuickBooks Data entry Payroll Associate's degree Full Job Description AbilityPoint is looking for a detailed oriented, self-motivated Accounting Coordinator to join our finance department team to support AbilityPoint in serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through some of the most exciting and dynamic programs around.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for AbilityPoint's Account Receivables, Deposits and Payroll entries. Additional responsibilities include file management, and backing up for billing coordinator and assist as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Enter and track program payments, invoices and adjustments Enter and track all donations, sponsorships and pledges Oversee the receipting and delivery of all deposits. Accounts payable coding and data entry into QBO's (non-payroll related only) and scan all invoices for electronic record Credit Card data entry and lost receipt tracking within 2 business days of receipt and scan all receipts for electronic record Assist with insurance collections and appeals Mail monthly statements for unpaid accounts Create checks as needed Maintain membership activity in The Arc Database upon receipt Timesheet Data Entry by the following Monday after end of pay period; updating rates, sick and vacation Maintain staff personnel files ensuring they are complete and perform background checks and file maintenance accordance to regulatory body standard Employee Mileage & Expense Data Entry per policy Create and distribute new hire packets Maintain financial and employee file documentation Maintain vendor files Maintain W9's
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
Experience Requirements:
Two years or more experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Payroll Two years or more experience working with Excel and Quickbooks A valid driver's license and adequate transportation
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
