Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities Manage weekly bookkeeping tasks, including entering vendor invoices, prepare subcontractor payroll, record transactions, generate payable report, and print checks Prepare monthly AIA pay applications Handle collections when necessary with effective and positive communication skills Data entry Support annual workmans comp audits by maintaining and preparing documentation to ensure compliance Collaborate with CPA at year end by gathering and submitting documents, month end closings will be performed outside of this role Maintain thorough records of tax accounting activities Contribute to the development of financial spreadsheets for analysis, reporting, and project management purposes. Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles with a strong understanding of accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with financial software systems used for bookkeeping, such as QuickBooks or similar platforms such as RFMS Construction or flooring industry exposure is a plus Team oriented communication skills to effectively work with co-workers, vendors, and customers Join us to be part of a growing team that values accuracy, and continuous improvement in financial management.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
