Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Jeffersontown, Kentucky. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong expertise in accounting systems and financial processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial operations and ensuring accuracy in all bookkeeping tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain all accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Utilize accounting software systems, including Great Plains and Microsoft Excel, to manage financial data.
• Prepare and analyze cash flow statements to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Collaborate on the annual budgeting process and provide detailed financial reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Generate financial statements and other reporting materials as required.
• Ensure payroll is processed accurately using ADP and other relevant systems.
• Monitor and manage company expenditures to maintain effective cost control.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries.
