Coteau Rd., Houma, LA Global Rigging and Synthetics LLC is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our growing team in Houma, Louisiana. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and professionalism and who can work independently while being part of a team.

Full-Time Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare customer invoices and process vendor bills Enter and maintain accurate financial records Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts Monitor customer accounts and assist with collections Assist with monthly financial close and reporting Maintain accurate customer and vendor records Assist with payroll and other accounting-related administrative duties Prepare financial documentation and reports for management Work with outside accounting professionals as needed Maintain confidentiality of company and financial information Qualifications Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in industrial, construction, manufacturing, or distribution is a plus Benefits Global Rigging and Synthetics LLC offers a competitive benefits package, including: 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance Death benefit Short-term disability Long-term disability 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar company match up to 6% Paid time off Join Our Team If you're an experienced accounting professional looking for a stable position with a growing company and an excellent benefits package, we'd like to hear from you.
