Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles and payroll processes Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience using ADP Payroll Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliations Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software preferred Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism Job Duties Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll using ADP payroll software Verify employee hours, deductions, tax withholdings, and benefits information Maintain payroll records and resolve payroll discrepancies Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries Process accounts payable invoices and assist with accounts receivable activities Reconcile bank accounts, payroll accounts, and general ledger transactions Generate payroll summaries, expense reports, and financial reports Support month-end and year-end closing activities Assist with audits and reporting requirements Maintain organized accounting and payroll files Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and labor laws Provide administrative support to the accounting department
