5 & 2 Quality Companies is accepting résumés for an AR Clerk to work in our Youngsville, LA Office . The AR Clerk is tasked with the proper invoicing within standard polices reflective of the customer's requirements. Candidates will work with all personnel to ensure timely and accurate invoicing occurs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Collaborating with project managers to prepare invoices to customers Save pdf files and attach in accounting software Entering invoices into customer portals Correspond with customers to submit invoices and answer questions Sort, file and answer correspondence, perform miscellaneous clerical duties and write reports. Make recommendations to improve quality of invoicing and collection procedures. Weekly reporting of invoicing totals/aging totals/cash receipts/invoice adjustments. Ability to maintain multiple logs of billing tickets and assist payroll with accurate and timely submittal of documents. Assistance with reviewing, scanning, filing, and copying documents. Participate in month end close by researching and verifying complete and accurate records have been documented. Maintain professional phone etiquette for assistance with receptionist relief and customer service.
Required Qualifications:
High School or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience strongly preferred Extensive computer knowledge and skills including MS Excel, Word and Outlook, along with spreadsheets and accounting software programs is preferred.
