full-time My client is seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative, and analytical Staff Accountant to join their Accounts Payable team. In this role, you will lead the day-to-day administration, financial reconciliation, and compliance enforcement. Utilizing Workday as their primary ERP, you will be the institutional anchor for cardholders, balancing rigorous policy oversight with a customer-centric approach. (Hybrid; Boston, MA)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Card programs, including card setup, limits, restrictions, and closures Review transactions for compliance with institutional policies, funding requirements, and IRS regulations Perform monthly reconciliations, journal entries, and expense allocations in Workday Partner with J.P. Morgan to resolve disputes, fraud concerns, and system issues Train and support faculty and staff on card use, expense reporting, and policy updates
Keys:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related business field, preferred 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience, with a direct focus on accounts payable, corporate card administration, or auditing. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables) are required. Hands-on experience with Workday Financials (Expenses and Procurement modules) and J.P.
