Job Description

Office Manager / Bookkeeper Position Summary Lorenzo's Italian Restaurant is seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly organized Office Manager / Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day administrative and bookkeeping functions of our office. This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of a variety of responsibilities, including bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, financial reconciliations, office administration, and general business support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working independently, and able to manage multiple priorities in a professional office environment. Because this position involves access to sensitive employee, financial, and business information, discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality are essential. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day office operations and administrative functions. Process payroll accurately and on schedule. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records using QuickBooks. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and research discrepancies. Review, process, and reconcile vendor invoices and statements. Prepare daily sales reports and maintain related financial records. Prepare and file meals tax returns and assist with other routine financial reporting requirements. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other business documents using Microsoft Word and Excel. Manage email, scheduling, filing, and other general office administrative responsibilities as needed. Assist with social media, marketing, and other business development activities. Maintain organized electronic and paper records. Safeguard confidential employee, client, and financial information. Work with management and outside professionals as needed to provide accurate financial and administrative information. Assist with special projects and other office responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping and/or office management experience . Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks . Experience processing payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable . Experience performing bank and credit card reconciliations . Proficiency with Microsoft Office , particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities. Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow tasks through to completion. Professional demeanor and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a small-business environment. Experience preparing sales or meals tax filings. Experience supporting social media or basic marketing activities. Strong Excel skills and experience preparing management or financial reports. Pay:
$32.00 - $45.00 per hour
