Job Description

Senior Bookkeeper Eastland Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to support the accounting operations of our real estate development, construction, and property management companies. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working across multiple businesses and projects. Key Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and receivable for multiple entities Prepare vendor and subcontractor payments and weekly check runs Monitor cash balances, collections, and project funding needs Complete bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closings Maintain accurate job-cost, WIP, prepaid expense, and liability records Prepare construction draw requests and financial reports Maintain vendor records, W-9s, 1099 information, and audit documentation Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and external accountant requests Qualifications At least 7 years of progressive bookkeeping or accounting experience Experience in construction, real estate development, or property management Strong knowledge of multi-entity accounting, job costing, WIP, construction draws, intercompany transactions, and general ledger accounting Proficiency with construction accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality An associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required. Pay:
$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
