We pride ourselves on fostering a friendly environment where residents and staff thrive together. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bookkeeper to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage the financial records of our community, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will help us maintain transparent financial operations, support budgeting efforts, and facilitate smooth financial reporting. Responsibilities Maintain accurate general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and account reconciliation Process payroll and handle payroll-related tasks with precision and timeliness Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections Reconcile bank statements and perform balance sheet reconciliation regularly Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, and other financial systems to record transactions Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and other relevant documentation Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and governmental accounting standards Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and assist with budget preparation and monitoring Experience Proven bookkeeping experience in corporate or non-profit settings, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and other financial management tools Experience in payroll processing, account reconciliation, journal entries, and general ledger accounting Knowledge of governmental accounting practices is a plus Strong skills in spreadsheets, account analysis, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial report writing Ability to perform 10-key typing efficiently for data entry tasks Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze accounts and ensure accuracy in all transactions Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values precision, transparency, and growth.
