Job Description
Savvy Staffing is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist. This position works closely with the Controller, Project Managers, Estimators, customers, insurance adjusters, mortgage companies, and homeowners. Responsibilities Manage accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and accurate records. Handle customer communications, including collections, statements, billing questions, and account reconciliation. Communicate professionally with homeowners, insurance adjusters, mortgage companies, and other partners. Monitor unbilled revenue and ensure accurate, timely billing. Generate and review customer and insurance statements. Coordinate with mortgage companies to help facilitate timely check releases. Track insurance claim status and assist with depreciation fund recovery. Educate customers on insurance billing processes. Research and resolve account discrepancies, payment issues, and disputes. Reconcile deposits and investigate misapplied or unidentified payments. Maintain accurate financial records and reporting using QuickBooks . Use QuickBooks, Excel, and Word for accounting, reporting, and documentation. Assist with additional accounting duties as assigned by the Controller. Qualifications Previous accounts receivable or accounting experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines. Experience with QuickBooks, Excel, and Word preferred. Up to 40 hours of paid sick time per calendar year, available after 90 days. Paid vacation according to company policy.
Pay:
