Sheehy Auto Stores seeks a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support accounting operations across multiple dealerships . This role involves assisting with daily accounting activities and dealership transactions, managing various accounting, title, and administrative functions across locations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate, and able to manage multiple priorities and dealership accounts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance PTO starting on your first day Paid Maternity & Paternity Leave (after one year) Paid Training Career Advancement Opportunities 401(k) with Profit Sharing Responsibilities Monitor Contracts in Transit and receivables Handle daily cash receipts and deposits Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Post retail and wholesale vehicle transactions Process product billing and cancellations Complete dealer reserve reconciliations Complete floor-plan reconciliations Reconcile non-vehicle manufacturer statements Maintain and organize accounting records and documents Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures Perform general accounting and administrative duties as needed Qualifications 1+ year of accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting assistant experience Automotive dealership experience preferred Deal posting experience a plus High school diploma or equivalent required Knowledge of basic accounting principles and reconciliations Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the U.S. Must successfully complete a background check, drug test, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
