Job Summary Precision sheet metal fabricator seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper / HR professional to manage comprehensive accounting functions and human resources responsibilities within our organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all aspects of financial record-keeping, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support HR processes that foster a positive workplace environment. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, strong technical skills, and a passion for accuracy to help drive our organization's success. You will be part of a two person administrative team and be crossed trained accordingly. Casual and open office environment allows support and interaction with other co-workers. Duties Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance using our ERP software Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant accounting standards Conduct detailed account reconciliations, journal entries, and double-entry bookkeeping to ensure financial accuracy and integrity Oversee payroll processing using Paychex, ensuring timely payments and compliance with tax regulations; handle deductions, benefits administration, and related reporting Manage business insurance policies Perform HR functions including employee onboarding, benefits administration, maintaining personnel records, and assisting with HR policies and procedures in coordination with our Paychex HR team Assist with outside accountants annual review Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit procedures; prepare documentation for external audits when necessary Facilitate budgeting processes by monitoring expenses against budgets and providing financial insights for decision-making Qualifications Proven experience in full charge bookkeeping with expertise in ERP system software Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles Familiarity with GAAP standards, financial concepts, double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliation techniques Demonstrated ability to process payroll accurately while ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), financial report writing, and technical accounting systems Strong time managements skills are required Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently Dependability & trustworthiness Join us in this vital role where your expertise will directly impact our organization's financial health and employee well-being.
