R.C. Moore, Inc., a leading 3PL company involved in Trucking, Warehousing and Brokerage, is seeking a full-time Assistant Controller to join our dynamic team at our Portland, ME location. Established in 1956, we became 100% employee-owned (ESOP)in 2022. We provide a national third-party logistics network to support our various food and beverage providers, and we are passionate about delivering exceptional, timely service to all customers.
Job Overview:
R.C. Moore, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Accounting team. This role is responsible for managing customer accounts, resolving payment issues, applying payments, maintaining aging reports, and providing excellent customer service while supporting the company's collection efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports Contact customers regarding outstanding balances and payment status Apply customer payments accurately and investigate discrepancies Research and resolve invoice and payment issues Send customer statements and respond to account inquiries Maintain detailed records and prepare reports for management Build positive relationships with customers and internal departments Review customer payment requirements and account information
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred Minimum of 2 years of office experience Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Self-motivated team player with strong problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Schedule:

Pay:
$50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
